Recycling
In 2006 the Company embarked on a major recycling project as a means of reducing levels of waste going to landfill.
A small investment in equipment combined with a programme of staff training and awareness, has resulted in recycling by weight improving from 25% to approximately 85% at present. This equates to a reduction from around 140 tonnes per year to just over 18 tonnes per year going to landfill.
The picture above is Teggsnose and Bottoms Reservoirs, (these reservoirs provide compensation water for the River Bollin rather than drinking water), located near the village of Langley and F Hardings. The beautiful Cheshire countryside surrounding F Hardings is why as a company we are so committed to the environment and protecting it.
